1 Box of 09-10 Fleer Ultra

Picked up one box at the hobby shop today, not really impressed with it this year. The design does not look that good to me and the rookies are horrible looking. In my opinion, Fleer Ultra has been going downhill for a few years now. The only good thing I can say about the product is the the ultra uniformity jersey cards got a facelift this year and look better then the last couple of seasons.

Gold Rookies & Rookie Redemption - The coalation here was horrible. Of the 3 gold medallion rookies I got I also got the regular rookie version as well.


Jersey cards - The only improvement over last year in my opinion


And the 1 card I got that I actually needed (did not pull the Riley Cote base)


If it looks anything like this next year I think I will be skipping it for now on.

That box just helped me make my decision: not doing the Gold Medallion set this year. The gold strip looks like a mess. Not a big fan of the jerseys either, but I guess that's just me. I like 08-09 version better.

Not a huge fan of the look especially the golds. How much was a box? I may give it a try if Negrin has a rookie.

I think they updated the product in a good way. Ultra is what it is..a lower tier product but it still has alot of value!

I like the ex inserts, and the ice medalions, the golds dont look that great, but i like the jerseys they look ok. mite try a box if its not to expensive. Nice break tho!

Meh, not a HUGE fan of the designs...they're alright. What I do like is the Ultra Uniformity and the EX cards.

I'm 50/50. I like the new base, golds, Uniformity's but I don't like the inserts or rookies. So to me they're about on par with last year, they get worse in some ways but counter it by improving in others. I must say though, I'm glad they mixed it up a bit at all. I hate it when they leave a set looking damn near identical from year to year to year (I'm looking at you MVP).
