How We Started
Geoff and Dan have been best friends since they were 7 and 8 years old . They quickly found out that they both had a common interest in hockey. Throughout the first 3 years of their friendship they collected cards seperately but often traded with one another. It was shortly after that they decided to team up and collect cards together to build a nice collection.
In 2002 they both decided to start player collections. Geoff chose Zdeno Chara and Dan 's choice was Dan Cloutier. It was only a few months after they started collecting their players did they find their way on eBay to pick up the cards they needed for their collections. They wanted a unique and catchy username on eBay and with the 2 players they collected it came quite easily, "Clouts'n'Chara".
They opened up their eBay store in 2003 and started only with base cards and few inserts but had tons of requests for higher end cards. It took only a few months for them to put up everything they had and to start building their store to be one of the top hockey card sellers on eBay today.
Now with their store getting bigger and bigger (over 13000 positives!) they have decided to start busting cases and sell everything they open. They are determined to open 1 case (or more) of most hockey products to make sure they have the most up to date cards in their store at all times.
Geoff and Dan have been at it now for 14 years and continue to enjoy and love the hobby. This site is for all those hockey collectors who just love to look at cards and appreciate cards for what they are.
