Rank #1 › Lonny is lucky...1 pack no problem!
Rank #1 since July 23 2009Pulled by lwecool in Work (Must not be working hard)
lwecool's Story: I had a break from work for a bit, and had been wanting a box of ultimate for some time, and went to Miraj Trading in Ottawa, and bought this pack. I saved it, and opened it later at work, and must say I was very happy to see this card come out! An Autographed rookie NHL Shield of Darren Helm 1 of 1! Couldn't wait to get home and show it to my wife and then to my daughter who collects as well. Now to decide, to keep or not to keep? Even if it doesn't win pull of the month, it is pull of the year for me! Lonny

Rank #2 › Property Of PhillyCards
Pulled by PhillyCards in Philadelphia
PhillyCards's Story: Buying a tin of The Cup is always a stressful situation for me. I wonder "Did i just waste my money?" and "Wow, what if i hit big?!?" Excitement takes over when the box shows up. I got Johnny on a video chat over AIM so he could be present, as he is at all important family functions. The man just loves to watch me bust boxes. :-) Obviously, the first thing i notice when i open the box is "OH MY GOD, I GOT A DECOY!!" The rest of the pack is just an undercard full of base and rookies until i get to the Main Event....the noticeably VERY THICK card in the back. The first thing i saw was the hand-numbered "1 / 1" Thank God i had the camera rolling, so i could get Johnny8242's facial reaction to this. When i saw the card, i was THRILLED to see it was a good player and a rare pull. I think I've only seen 7 or 8 of these on Ebay. Anyway, that is my entry. I just pray my luck continues. Thanks Guys!!! Jeff PhillyCards

Rank #3 › No Coffee with this Tim Horton
Pulled by 6ckhockey6 in Massachusetts
6ckhockey6's Story: I had purchased a 3 box case of 08-09 The Cup in September. I had opened 2 of the boxes within two weeks. I had one box left and what did I do? I kept it until Christmas night! Yup it was Christmas and decided it was a good time to break it. I had a few decent cards before it but nothing great, so I slid the next card and saw "Legendary" and I knew right away it was a cut. So I ran upstairs and got a 1 inch thick case. Slid the card very slowly and as my heart was beating faster and faster I saw "Tim Horton 1/4." It was one of the biggest cards I had pulled and that night I couldn't stop talking about it.

Rank #4 › Howe about it!
Pulled by StamkosFan2 - Jeff in Gibraltar Trade Center
StamkosFan2 - Jeff's Story: Our monthly card show trip to the Gibraltar Trade Center in Michigan proved to be the best ever. My nephew (Stamkosfan1) and I (Stamkosfan2) went to the monthly card show, just to pick up supplies, but as usual, I couldn't resist. I bought 3 boxes of 09-10 Artifacts. On the second box I opened, we were in shock, as it sprung out at us. In Detroit, no less. It was a Gordie Howe Jersey/Tag 1/1. It was the best card I have ever pulled, and probably will be ever. We have had great luck at these shows before, but this was the best. (Stamkosfan2 - from Sarnia, Ontario)

Pulled by FanaticHockey in Card Show
FanaticHockey's Story: Me and my dad went to our very first card show, and we were looking to open abit of ultimate. So we decided to buy 1 pack. As usual me and my dad open our boxes and packs at home. So on the drive home we were joking about a 1/1. Then what happens we open it and the 1/1 is in our hands. Its our very first 1/1 and it was a very special day.

Rank #6 › Kevin gets what he wants!
Pulled by Inferno in his comfy home
Inferno's Story: "As many may already know, my obsession with the ITG Ultimate 9th Edition Ultimate Emblem, Number, Glove, and Tag cards led me to maintain a gallery of any card images that appeared from the set so everybody could see the stunning pieces ITG has incorporated into the product. I have been hoping to find the Pavel Bure Ultimate Emblem but so far it hasn't appeared, in the meantime I tried my luck with a sealed box of Ultimate with the hopes of pulling one of the awesome 1/1 cards. The very last card, in the very last pack, turned out to be a very colorful Joe Thornton Ultimate Number card featuring a full shoulder number patch from a game-used Boston Bruins jersey. Needless to say I was very excited to pull one of the cards I have been obsessing over, ITG did a really great job on the 1/1 cards and I hope to find some more for my collection!"

Rank #7 › Box Rippers does it again!
Pulled by Malkinfan (Tiger) in Box Rippers Show Episode #39
Malkinfan (Tiger)'s Story: I purchased a box from a friend of mine in Ontario. It was just a single box of 07-08 Sp Authentic to get some people in the mood for my upcoming group break. Didn't think I would get anything to good in the box. 2nd last pack of the box yielded this beautiful Patrick Kane rookie autographed 5 color 8 break patch /100. I was stoked to say the least. It can all be seen on my Box Rippers Show on youtube, episode 39. Enjoy the Mojo! Tiger. Box Rippers.

Rank #8 › Wife is the lucky charm!
Pulled by Samuel - BQAGGIE in Texas
Samuel - BQAGGIE's Story: I am new to the video box breaks on YouTube, but my rookie video was a good one. My wife & I busted 2 boxes of 07/08 SP Authentic hockey and in the same box, I pulled a Sign of the Times and a Rookie Review Auto Patch of Alex Ovechkin. The Auto Patch was #1/100. You can check out the video on this link http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uhylh49ELc8, (sorry for the audio) and I have included the pictures and scans. Not too bad for the first video. Thanks!
